PRAISE GOD

Greetings and Blessings to all!
This website was designed to Glorify God and share my faith in our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that those who visit will seek to do God's will and have a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father and precious Savior.

I am 32 years old and have been happily married to my wife Brenda for 5 ½ years. I have three children from a previous marriage. Brenda and I through my second marriage, have two children together. That gives me a total of six wonderful blessings from Heaven.

To give a little background on myself, honestly I have not always been this close to God. My dad died when I was 10 ½ months old, and my mother remarried, less than a year later. The home I grew up in has helped me become the person I am today. My mother and I were very close. I was baptized and raised Roman Catholic but was not close to God. It was not until later, looking back, that I realized how much God had intervened in my life. It was not until later, that I realized how much Mom had helped shape my Faith in God I have today.

I can also see now just how much Faith my mother had in dealing with her second marriage. Trust me when I say it was not a "rose garden.". To add insult to injury, my first marriage was as far from "Godly" as you can get. You would think God would have given up, but He did not. Revelation 3:20 tells us, "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me."

Through His divine grace and love, Jesus kept knocking at the door of my heart until I finally answered. Just as God also promised in 1 John 1:9, "If I would confess my sins, He would be faithful and just to forgive me of my sins and cleanse me of ALL wrong doing" (emphasis mine).

And He did!

And He will for you too...

Just ask Him and

Let Jesus be your guide.

Upadate!!!

For those who have visted this webpage before, I thought I would give you an update on how God has worked in our lives recently. After doing alot of studying of God's word, I realized the importance of getting baptized. I had always thought that I was already baptized, because it was done when I was a baby. Clearly in Acts 2:38 it says,"Turn away from your sins, and turn towards God and be Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." How then can a baby turn away from his/her sins and profess their faith in Jesus? That is why on March 27, 200I, I was baptized into the family of God according to scrpiture, God's word .

The exciting part is how the Holy Spirit worked in the lives of my wife and daughter. On June 13, 2001, my daughter Krista was baptized and just four days later my wife Brenda was baptized. You have to understand that Brenda was born and rasied Presbyterian and they strongly believe and acknowledge infant sprinklings as baptisms. The same way it was with me being Roman Catholic. During the baptism of Krista, Brenda said," I felt as if I was going to jump out of my skin." The Holy Spirit does some amazing things. Four days later she was convinced it was necessary it was time to be baptized, fully immersed.

Just so you know...
The word baptism comes from the Greek word baptizo, meaning "to immerse or place under water". The New Testament (Matthew through Revelation) was originally written in the Greek language, and baptizo was commonly used in reference to bathing or washing dishes. It's meaning is distinct from other Greek words which mean to sprinkle (rhantizo) or pour (ekcheo), and its definition can be clearly seen in a reference to baptism in Romans 6:3-5 "Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection." (NIV). History likewise confirms that baptism, because of the meaning of the word, was only by immersion in the first several centuries of Christianity.

Do you feel a tug at your heart? Maybe you should find a quiet place and listen to God's call on your life and surrender your ALL to Jesus! Remember...He gave his ALL for you!

My Personal Blessings From GOD
